WELCOME TO OUR ADVENTURE OF SAILING, TINY LIVING AND EXPLORING FROM AND ON OUR SAILBOAT, PLUTO.
WHO IS SAILING PLUTO?
We are Christo and Nichelle.
We enjoy living a simple life close to nature. The sailing lifestyle gives us the perfect opportunity to do just that. 1. Our space is limited on the boat, so what we carry with us needs to be functional and useful. Our decisions about shopping and consuming have changed a lot over the last 5 years, more specifically the last 3 since living on the boat. 2. We are sailing between bigger marinas, working from where we are and enjoying every stop – however long it might be. We are not going fast. Don’t expect too many island hops and tracking across the globe from us. We tend to get stuck into the local culture wherever we are before we move on. 3. We are not ONLY enjoying life on the water. For us, it is all about learning what is around you – engaging with nature as a whole including the forests and mountains, the culture and even the everyday life of the places we visit.

We sure do not have an easy sailing coastline, so it gives us extra confidence knowing Pluto was made to cope with testing waters. She is a Tosca 36. It is the beamy, cruiser version of other 36ft designs by Lavranos (the L36 and Atlantis 36). We preferred the
I originally considered a blog dedicated to Sailing Pluto, but for now, we are keeping all our updates in one place where I post the most 🙂
